About

Hi, I'm Adely. Just one electrician, doing it right.

No call center, no dispatcher, no rotating crew of strangers in your house. When you book Adely Electric, you book me.

Adely, electrician

Why I started this

I spent years working for bigger electrical companies. Good work, mostly — but I kept watching the same thing happen. A homeowner would call about a flickering light, and someone would walk in trying to sell them a $4,000 panel upgrade.

That's not how I wanted to work. So I went on my own — Adely Electric, the trade name, with Pro Ampacity LLC on the paperwork.

"You called for the flickering light. I'll fix the flickering light. If something else needs your attention, I'll show you — but I'm not here to sell you anything you didn't ask for."

How I work

It's pretty simple. I answer the phone — if I'm in someone's attic, I'll call back within the hour. I show up when I say I will — and if traffic is bad, I'll text. I quote in writing — and the number on the invoice matches the number on the quote.

I'm not the cheapest electrician in NOVA. I'm not trying to be. What I am is the one who'll tell you the truth, do the work right, clean up after himself, and pick up the phone the next time you call.

The work itself

I've spent over a decade doing residential electrical work. I came up doing service work in older NOVA homes — the ones with the 1970s panels, the ungrounded outlets, the dubious DIY rewiring jobs from the previous owner.

These days I do a lot of EV chargers, lighting plans for renovations, panel upgrades, and the random "can you take a look at this?" calls that turn into half-day fixes. I like the variety. No two days are the same.

Outside of work

I live in NOVA. When I'm not in someone's basement chasing a tripped breaker, I'm probably at church band practice or messing with my own home projects (the cobbler's children, etc.). I'm a real person. I'll act like one when I'm in your house.

What I stand for

Four things, in writing.

No. 01

Pick up the phone

If you call, you get me. If I can't answer, I call back the same day. That's the whole pitch — and most of NOVA's electricians won't even do that.

No. 02

Quote it, then honor it

Written quote before work starts. If something genuinely changes mid-job, I stop and we talk about it. The invoice never surprises you.

No. 03

Explain everything

You shouldn't have to take my word for anything. I'll show you what's wrong, what I'm doing, and why. If you have questions, I have time.

No. 04

Leave it cleaner than I found it

Drop cloths, shoe covers, debris hauled out. My truck has a shop vac, and I use it. Your house should look like nothing happened — except now the lights work.

The legal stuff

Permits pulled. Code passed. Work warrantied.

  • Permits pulled, inspections passed For any work that requires a permit, I pull it and meet the inspector. No "we'll skip the permit" shortcuts.
  • NEC code-compliant, always Every install meets current National Electrical Code. If your inspector finds something, I come fix it free.
  • 1-year workmanship warranty If anything I installed fails because of how I installed it, I fix it. No charge, no debate.

Ready when you are.

Quotes are free. Calls are honest. Let's talk about your project.
